Psalm 2:1-6
Why do the nations rage
and the peoples plot in vain?
2The kings of the earth set themselves,
and the rulers take counsel together,
against the LORD and against his Anointed, saying,
3“Let us burst their bonds apart
and cast away their cords from us.”
4He who sits in the heavens laughs;
the Lord holds them in derision.
5Then he will speak to them in his wrath,
and terrify them in his fury, saying,
6“As for me, I have set my King
on Zion, my holy hill.”
While reading scripture, this passage really stuck out for me. Unfortunately… Our world, in all its beauty, is being skewed everyday by Satan. And whilst we have a heavy spiritual war going on constantly, we experience the reality…
It is us against the world… And it is not going to change.
My question for a long time has been the same as king David’s.
Why does it have to be that way?
Lord! I trust you with all that I am, and I know you will guide us in these dark times, as you always have. You are worthy to be praised!
